This category discusses text-based scripting solutions for Unreal Engine 4. There are amazing UE4 facilities for creating logic at the low-level with C++ and at the high-level with visual node graphs using Blueprints though this category is for discussing the sweet spot between the two and a place for contributing scripting plugins and their example scripts.


Once added, other users can edit and update Scripting pages to keep them accurate. Once you have something you want to share, create a page for it and let users know about it. To learn more about creating a page for your content, visit the Get Involved page.

SkookumScript - realtime text-based console and gameplay programming language designed for game development. It can make live changes on a running game and is deeply integrated to the UE4 runtime and editor (including calling to and from Blueprints and C++). SkookumScript is a recipient of the Unreal Development Grant.
